home church

If you really want to get connected, and stay connected, getting involved in a Home Church is the best way build meaningful, long-lasting relationships at Mountain Park Church. We believe real life change happens in the context of authentic relationships, which is why we not only meet in our large gathering on Sunday Mornings, but we also meet in Home Churches throughout the week. In the Bible, they worshiped in the temple, but personal ministry happened “house to house.”

Sharing Life Together

A Home Church is an intentional gathering of people who meet regularly. Since God designed us for relationships, we believe it is through the connections made in Home Churches that God will help us grow. People form groups around what matters in their lives. This can look like connecting with people who share similar interests or are at the same stage in life as well as finding people who have experience in an area in which you want to grow. They are also where we pray for each other and support each other. Home Churches meet once a week in locations all around our city, and with several groups to choose from, we believe there is a group for you. Email us to get connected!

Home Churches are designed as a place where you can feel completely comfortable exploring your faith and learning more about Jesus together with others who are journeying as well. In the bible, Jesus loved celebrating and attending parties of all sorts, and we think Home Church should always have an atmosphere of celebration. In that spirit of celebration, we want to follow Jesus together and learn how to know him better together so we can share his joy.

Home Churches have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Home Churches exist—to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Email us or fill out a Connect Card on Sunday Morning and bring it to the Connect Desk.

The power of community is that we all have something to give. One of the key purposes of Home Church is to contribute to the health and well-being of our communities, by loving and serving our neighbourhoods, connecting with local social agencies that help the underprivileged, and by positively influencing our culture through living the good news of Jesus right where we live. We want to see Niagara Falls transformed by the love of Jesus Christ, and for us that starts with learning to live it out in Home Church.
